Strickland & Sons Pipeline, Inc. (SSP) was founded in 1987 by Wayne Strickland in Dacula GA. At that time, he was President and Rob was Corporate Secretary. In 1997, SSP moved to its current location in Gainesville GA. In 2004, Wayne began to give over the day-to-day operations to Rob and in 2006 Rob took over control of said operations. In 2008, Rob acquired full ownership of SSP and assumed title of President/CEO.
Today SSP has over 75 employees---the majority of whom have been employed with SSP over 10 years. Tamara Strickland is the Corporate Secretary; Kevin Pass is the Senior Estimator/Project Manager and Ricky Pass is the General Superintendent. We perform work in the municipal and private market all over Northeast GA. We can self-perform a complete land development project, including erosion and sedimentation control, grading, pipeline installation, tunnels, jack & bore, pump stations and roads. One hundred percent of the equipment and trucks used on all projects is company owned.
We are a DOT Certified Contractor as well as being Certified Water and Sewer Line installers for Cobb County Water System, Gwinnett County, Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority, Athens-Clarke County, Hall County, City of Gainesville GA, Forsyth County GA, and City of Cumming GA. We also are currently developing properties for Clayton Properties Group (Chafin Builders), AWS Development and Limestone Greenway LLC, just to name a few.
As we head into our 35th year of business, our plan is to continue moving forward with quality projects and a qualified workforce to a bigger and better future.
